Effective CV and Covering Letters
This interactive 2-hour online workshop will help you create CVs and cover letters that make a strong impression. You’ll get practical tips and clear guidance on what works, and how to tailor your applications for different roles. By the end of the session, you’ll feel more confident improving your CV and cover letters and taking the next step in your career journey.

Develop Your Interview Skills
This 2-hour online workshop will help you feel more prepared and confident for interviews. You’ll take part in practical preparation activities, learn about positive interview body language, and explore tools to help you answer different types of questions. By the end of the session, you’ll feel more confident going into your next interview.

How are the workshops delivered?
You’ll take part in a small online group on Microsoft Teams, led by one of our friendly Careers Advisors. The session will include a short presentation, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and join in discussions. Each workshop also includes a practical activity to help you put your new skills and knowledge into practice.
Who are they suitable for?
They’re ideal for anyone preparing to get into work, change careers or seeking progression opportunities. *The Ace Your School Job Application workshop is specifically for those looking to secure a role within a school.
What’s the cost?
The workshops are fully funded (free) for those who meet the entry requirements, subject to all funding conditions.
