Central Bedfordshire Local Plan – Submitted Sites Consultation
Marston Moreteyne Parish Council has responded to Central Bedfordshire Council’s consultation on proposed sites for future development.
Marston Moreteyne has already experienced significant growth, with around 1,020 new homes built over the past 15 years, alongside the planned Marston Valley development.
The Parish Council has raised concerns about the impact of further development on traffic, infrastructure, flooding, biodiversity, agricultural land, open countryside and the character of our village.
We believe that no further sites in Marston Moreteyne should be allocated until the Marston Valley development is complete and the community has had time to adapt to the growth already planned.
