Public Defibrillators

An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is designed for use by people without medical training. These devices are available for public use during emergencies when someone is experiencing cardiac arrest.

A defibrillator delivers a controlled electric shock to help restore a normal heart rhythm when the heart has stopped beating effectively.

When switched on, the AED provides clear audio and visual instructions, guiding you step by step through the lifesaving process. It will assess the person’s heart rhythm and advise whether a shock is needed. Simply follow the prompts — it’s like having a trained professional guiding you through those critical first minutes.
